Molecular Formula: Na2Cr2O7·2H2O
Molecular Mass: M=298.00
CAS No.: 7789-12-0
Introduction:
• Intermediate for all kinds of chrome chemicals with red-orange crystals, weak hygroscopicity, melting point of 356.7 ℃ and density of 2.348 g/cm3. Starts loosing crystal water above 100 ℃ and decomposing over 400 ℃. Dissolves excellent solubility in water.
• Widely used in manufacturing of Basic Chromium Sulfate, Lead Chromate Yellow Pigment, Chromium Oxide Green, Chromium Trioxide, Pharmaceutical Catalyst, Oxidizer and other chromate salts.
• When compared with conventional sulfuric acid acidification process, it has low sulfate concentrations because of our efficient Carbon Dioxide acidification process. Table below illustrates the specification of Sodium Dichromate Dihydrate crystals.
